This is my great pleasure to introduce Shripatrao Kadam Mahavidyalaya, Shirwal is one of the constituent institutes of the Rayat Shikshan Sanstha. Rayat Shikshan Sanstha was founded by Padmabhushan Dr. Karmveer Bhaurao Patil (D.Lit.) in 1919. Shripatrao Kadam Mahavidyalaya, Shirwal is established in 1983 and affiliated to Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Presently, it conducts five programmes (B.A. / B.Com. / B.C.A./ M.A./ M.Com) at UG and PG levels along with the student support services like NSS, NCC, Competitive Exams Guidance Cerner, Sport, Culture, and so on. The college has developed various statutory and non-statutory committees at the college level. Also, the college has well-qualified teaching faculties and non-teaching staff with enough equipment and well-furnished infrastructures. The college has 23 skill-based Short-Term Courses have been designed to support the conventional degree Programmes. These Short Term Courses are approved by UGC, Shivaji University, Kolhapur, NGOs, Regional Industries, and the college. The college has been rendering educational as well as social responsibilities ardently since its establishment in 1983. It emphasizes the overall improvement of the students in respect of Higher Education, Culture, and Social responsibilities and contributes to the nation’s development. Recently, the college has assessed at the 3rd Cycle and reaccredited B++ Grade with a 2.98 CGPA in the academic year 2020-2021 by NAAC, an autonomous institute of UGC.
